Bentley Spivey, 62, of Dayton, Ohio, and formerly of Rockcastle county, passed away Tuesday, May 22 at his home. He was born in Rockcastle County November 16, 1910, the son of the late Samuel and Clista Mahaffey Spivey.
Survivors are three sons, Robby of Richmond and John and Marvin, both of Dayton, Ohio; eight daughters, Mrs. Adell Mullins and Mrs. Ann Miller, both of East Bernstadt, Mrs. Ruby Lucas, Mrs. Dorothy Franks and Mrs. Brenda Sue Allen, all of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Penny Morris and Mrs. Joan Hayes, both of Livingston and Mrs. Lucille Taylor of Mason, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Becky Waddle, Mrs. Sally Travilian, Mrs. Teddy Carpenter and Mrs. Bertha Terry; two brothers, Casper and Elmer Spivey and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25 at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Durham officiating. Burial will be in the Bales Cemetery.
