Notes - Henry Ponder
Word has been received here of the death of Henry Ponder, 74, R.R.2, Mount Vernon, Ky. He was a former Richmond resident and had worked at various times for Perfect Circle, Mercury Records and Crosley here. He was a member of the Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Allie; two sons, William and Bennett, both of Mount Vernon, Ky.; three daughters, Eva Shannon and Kathlene Vencer, both of Richmond, and Mrs. Cacus Marker of Eldorado, Ohio; one brother, Alva Ponder of Tipp City, Ohio; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. ponder will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Raford Herrin officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at Mount Vernon, Ky. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
