Notes - MURRAY, William Glen-- August 6, 1927 - February 26, 2002. William Glen Murray, 74, died in Dallas, Oregon on Tuesday, February 26 after an 18 year struggle with Parkinson's Syndrome. He was born in Burning Springs, Kentucky. He attended Sue Bennett College, Eastern Kentucky University and San Jose State University where he received a B.S. degree in business administration.
He was a Korea era war veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He played an early role in the establishment of the Lockheed Missiles and Space Division in Sunnyvale, California. After a long administrative career, he retired from Lockheed in 1990.
He enjoyed hunting and real estate investment. He was a longstanding member of the Willow Glen Alliance Church in San Jose, California.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roger. He is survived by his loving wife Nellie of Dallas, Oregon; and two sons, Michael Glen and Bryan Keith. He has three grandchildren.
A burial service will be conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose on Friday, March 1st. The family requests no floral gifts, donations may be made to the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, 1206 123rd Av., Bellevue WA, 98005. The family wishes to thank relatives, church family, physicians and caregivers for their kind and sensitive efforts.
