Notes - George Mahaffey
George Almond Mahaffey, 80, of 211 1/2 Columbia Drive, Kennewick, died Saturday in Hillcrest convalescent Home.
He was born in St. Paul, Ark., and had lived in the Tri-Cities for 18 years. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. William Beardsley, Pasco, Mrs. Marie Sanders, Richland, Mrs. Laura Emogene Dionne, River Rough, Mich.; son Edd Mahaffey, Connell; sisters Mrs. D.L. Watson, Portland and Mrs. Roy LaBourne, Los Angeles.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mueller’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Everle officiating. Burial will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home until 8 p.m. today.
