Notes - H.H. Rice Former Owsley Official, Dies
Booneville, Ky., Sept. 6 (Special) – Harvey Hall Rice, 86, of Ricetown, retired merchant and former Owsley County magistrate, died at 5 o’clock this morning at the Price Nursing Home at Lexington.
Among survivors is Circuit Judge S.H. Rice of Irvine, a son.
Also surviving are another son, E.E. Rice, Hamilton, Ohio, attorney; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Braswell, Los Angeles, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the King Justice Funeral Chapel here by the Rev. Ike Gabbard. Burial will be in the Bradenburg Cemetery near here. Pall bearers will be D.W. Barrett, Harlan McIntoch, Henry Campbell, A.J. Becknell, J.M. King and A.J. Creech.
