Notes - PONDER, Marie Age 83 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, January 1, 2006. She was born in Livingston, Kentucky on May 30, 1922 the daughter of Bennett and Clara (Pruitt) Mullins. On September 2, 1942 in Livingston, Kentucky she married Truman L. Ponder, who preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Truman B. Ponder and his wife Brenda and Richard L. Ponder, both of Hamilton; three sisters, Mabel Gentry and her husband Ruford, Helen Swanner, and Pauline Adams, all of Hamilton; one granddaughter, Brandy Darby and her husband Steven of Oxford; and two great-grandchildren, Adam and Emma Darby. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bernice Chandler. Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Skirvin, of North Fairfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
