Beattyville, KY- Ruby Tackett, age 81, widow of James Tackett, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Beattyville, KY.
Ruby was born September 29, 1939 in Booneville, KY, a daughter to the late Willie and Rosie (Eldridge) Terry. She spent her life as a homemaker and was a member of the Warren’s Chapel Church in Vincent, KY.
Ruby is survived by 1 brother; Jimmy Terry of Newport, Tennessee, 1 sister; Phyllis Phleuger of Bellevue, KY, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many other loving family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Willie and Rosie Terry, her husband; James Tackett, 3 sons; James Timothy Tackett, Wallace Tackett and Tracy Tackett, 5 brothers; Robert, Delbert, Johnny, Luther and Clarence Terry and 1 sister; Louise Turner.
A graveside service will be held at the Gabbard-Tackett Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Randell Amburgy on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in the Gabbard-Tackett Cemetery beside her husband.

Wallace Tackett Sr., 52 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 6, 2015 at his residence. Wallace was born April 28, 1962 at Oneida, KY, a son of Ruby Terry Tackett of Booneville, KY, and the late James Tackett. He was preceded in death by a brother Tracy Tackett. In addition to his mother his survivors include his wife of 22 years Margie Johnson Tackett; two sons, James Costigan and Wallace Tackett Jr., both of Grayson; three daughters, Samantha Johnson of Grayson, Diamond Tackett and Cary Marie Tackett both of Dayton; one brother, James Timothy Tackett of Booneville, KY; two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 12 noon at Malone Funeral Home with Jamie Brunk minister. Burial will be in the Tackett Family Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the Tackett Family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.

Booneville, KY- Tracy Tackett, age 34, husband of Jennifer (McIntosh) Tackett, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Tracy was born in Lexington, KY on September 10, 1979, to the late James and Ruby (Terry) Tackett. He was student of Morehead State University, where he graduated in December of 2013 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems. Tracy was a wonderful husband to his wife of 2 years, Jennifer, a loving son and brother. He was also a member of the Morehead United Methodist Church in Morehead, KY.
He is survived by his wife; mother, Ruby; 2 brother, James Timothy (Sharon) Tackett of Vincent, KY and Wallace (Margie) Tackett of Grayson, KY along with many other loving family members and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by his father; James Tackett.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Reverend J. Jamison Brunk and Reverend Aaron Mansfield officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11:00 AM until time of service. Tracy will be laid to rest in the Gabbard-Tackett Cemetery located in the Little Sturgeon Community of Booneville, KY.
