    Kilgore – Services for Drucilla Marcum Stephens, 80, of Kilgore will be 10 a.m. Monday at Rader Funeral Home.
    Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup.
    Mrs. Stephens died Thursday morning in a Kilgore nursing home following a lengthy illness.
    She was a native of Cass, Ark., and had lived in Kilgore for 20 years. She also lived in Barger and Arp. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Kilgore, past worthy Matron of the Apr Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Mum Society.
    Survivors include her daughter, patsy Stephens Evans of Bridge City; son, Jack E. of Dallas; sisters, Della Neville of Denton and Mary Faulkner of San Jose; brother, Henry Marcum of Pasadena; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

    Patsy Anita Evans, 82, of Bridge City passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

    Born in Combs, Arkansas, on April 11, 1931, Patsy was the daughter of Edward James Stephens and Drucilla Markham Stephens.

    She attended Tyler Junior College and graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Patsy was one of the first faculty members of Bridge City High School. She taught for 33 years with 31 of those years being dedicated to teaching home economics and family living at Bridge City High School. Patsy loved to travel, cook, and go on shopping trips. She will be missed by her family, students, and friends.

    Patsy was preceded in death by her parents.

    She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jesse Wyatt Evans; son, Stephen Wyatt Evans and wife, Donna; grandchild, Jessica Ellender and husband, Jadon; one great-grandchild, and brother, Jack Edward Stephens.

    Jack E. Stephens, 79, passed away at his home in Dallas, Texas on September 24, 2013. Jack was born on November 4, 1933 to James Edward and Drucilla (Marcum) Stephens in Arp, Texas. He graduated from Arp High School in 1951 before joining the Army. Jack is survived by his sons, Beau of Frisco, Texas; Todd and wife Lisa of Kentucky; and daughter, Staci Stephens Ashley and husband Steve Ashley of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Stockton Anna Ashley, Austin and Lauren Stephens, Trinity and Brendan Stephens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patsy Evans. Funeral services will be held at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas and are limited to immediate family only.

    Steven Wyatt Evans, age 68, of Beaumont, passed away on November 4, 2021, at his home.

    A graveside service will be 1pm, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup, Smith County, Texas. Officiating will be Pastor Kirk Ellender.

    Born in Jacksonville, Texas, on April 17, 1953, he was the son of Jesse Wyatt Evans and Patsy (Stephens) Evans.

    Steve was a 1971 graduate of Bridge City High School and went on to attend Stephen F. Austin University. He worked for Valero as an operator for almost 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, riding his Harley Davidson and listening to country music. Steve was an avid sports fan and could always be found watching his favorite teams, the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his French Bulldog, Pierre but adored his family most of all. Steve will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Patsy Evans.

    He is survived by his daughter Jessica Ellender and husband Jadon of Bridge City, Texas, his grandchildren, Anderson Wyatt Ellender, Joliet Ryan Ellender and Austin Everett Ellender.

    Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home of Orange, Texas.
