    Eva Joy (Pingleton) Gibson was the daughter of Samuel and Kizziah Rodgers Willis. She lived most of her life in the McAlester and Hartshorne areas. She married Carl Pingleton on Sept. 30, 1934, and had four children. Later she married Myrl W. Gibson and had one daughter. She was a housewife and enjoyed fishing, bingo, working in her flower garden and going to the ocean. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl Pingleton and Myrl W. Gibson; a son, Jimmy Dee Pingleton and a son-in-law, James Turner Daniels. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joel Kircher officiating.

    Jimmy Dee Pingleton, 52, of McAlester, died yesterday at Muskogee Veterans Hospital. Pingleton was born Oct. 20, 1935 in Haileyville. He was retired from the civil service and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He had served in Korea. Surviving relatives include his mother, Eva Gibson of the home; three sons and three daughters; one brother, Jack Pingleton of McAlester; three sisters, Carolyn Daniels of Shawnee, Linda Burks of McAlester and Sandra Medley of Tearkana, Tex.; numerous nieces and nephews; and Pat Rochelle, a friend. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Chaney's Funeral Home of McAlester.
