Natilla Benjamin, age 81 of Alexandria, KY and former resident of Totz, KY, passed from this life at her residence on Friday, April 05, 2019. She was born in Harlan County, KY on August 02, 1937 to John Parker and Martha Marie Wilmot Brown.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Clayton Hill; parents, John and Martha Brown; son, Johnny Hill; and several siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Benjamin; son, Lonnie (Teresa) Hill; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hill; sister, Zelda Causey; brothers, Carmen (Linda) Brown, Bill (Roxanne) Brown, and Walter (Diane) Brown; granddaughters, Brandi (Tim) Bailey and Megan (Ronnie) Whitehead; grandsons, Josh (Stephanie) Harrison and Lonnie (Melodie) Hill, Jr.; great-granddaughters, Cheyenne and Kayla; great-grandsons, Aiken and Braxton; great-great grandson, Jonathan; and a host of other family and friends.
You may visit with the family on Tuesday, April 09, 2019, between 6 – 9 pm in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 1 pm with Lonnie Hill, Jr. and David Hill officiating. Interment will be in the Totz Cemetery, Totz, KY with the brethren of Putney Bible Church serving as pallbearers.

Johnny Clayton Hill, age 65 of Totz, KY, being surrounded by his loving family and friends went home to be with the Lord after a long struggle with complicated black lung on Sunday, March 03, 2019 at 5:00 pm at the Harlan ARH. He was born October 24, 1953 in Harlan County to Luther Clayton Hill and Natilla Brown Hill Benjamin.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Luther Clayton Hill; grandmother, Martha Brown; and grandfathers, John Brown and Jesse Hill, Sr.
He leaves his loving wife, Brenda Miller Hill; 3 daughters, Brandi (Tim) Bailey of Totz, Maegan (Ronnie) Whitehead of Bledsoe, and Kayla Hill of Hopkinsville, TN; a treasured granddaughter, Cheyenne Whitehead; a treasured grandson, Jonathan Bailey Hill; loving mother, Natilla Benjamin and stepfather, Barry; loving brother, Lonnie Hill and wife, Teresa; special nephew, Lonnie Hill Jr. and wife, Melanie; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Johnny was a loving husband, father and grandfather who worked in the coal mines for over 38 years to provide for his family. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of the Tri City Pentecostal Church where he served as a Deacon and Teacher of God’s word.
His family was his greatest accomplishment; his wife, daughters, grandbabies and sons-in-law was his light for getting up in the mornings. His love for his brother, Lonnie, and mother, Natilla, was also his reason for his celebrated life.
You may visit with the family between 6- 8 pm on Wednesday, March 06, 2019, at Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY. You may also visit between 6 – 9 pm on Thursday, March 07, 2019, at the Tri City Pentecostal Church, Cumberland, KY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 08, 2019, at 11 am at the Church with Reverend Billy Lewis and Reverend Lonnie Hill, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Totz Cemetery, Totz, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
