Suddenly Friday, July 5, 2002 age 86. George was a Sergeant Major in the 131st Quartermaster Battalion which fought its way onto the beaches of Normandy Northern France on D-Day. Friends will be received at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland, Monday 6-8 P.M. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, 505 W. Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Rd. Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. Interment under full military honors Rose Hill Cemetery, Deerfield Township.
