    Note on Find a Grave:
Daughter of Ruben & Mary Wilmont, Pauline married Chris Lawson and had 15 children survive birth, though only 14 lived past infancy. Their names were: Minnie Josephine, "Tag" Delbert, Bessie, "Marge" (Margrate), Mary (died before 1 yr old), "Red" Walter, "Boo" Ruben, Bob, Tom, Nettie, "Rene" (Irene), Norrie, Martha, Easter, and Frances (female). She lived a long and happy life, and to my knowledge as evidenced by photos, remained close to most if not all her children and grandchildren.

Lawson, Mrs. Pauline Wilmont, 63, wife of Chris Lawson, 460 Morgan avenue, died at 4:30 o’clock Monday afternoon at the St. Joseph hospital where she had been admitted about an hour earlier.
Mrs. Lawson, injured Aug. 6 in a two-car collision on U.S. Highway No.25 near Richmond, was treated at the Pattie A. Clay Infirmary there and later hospitalized from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20 at the Good Samaritan hospital. Her husband, also injured in the accident, still is a patient at the Good Samaritan hospital where his condition today was reported as favorable.
A native or Rockcastle county, Mrs. Lawson was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Wilmont. She had spent most of her life in Madison county, but had been a resident of Lexington during the past year. She was a member of the Methodist church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Walter, Thomas, D.H. and Reuben J. Lawson, all of Lexington, and Robert Lawson, Madison county; eight daughters, Mrs. Raymond Lunsford, Mrs. Henry Taylor, Mrs. Garland Roberts, Miss Frances Lawson and Mrs. Calvin Hudson, all of Lexington; Mrs. Wheeler Young, Madison county; Mrs. Warden Hunter, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Don Parker, LaFollette, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Phelps, Germantown, Ohio, and Mrs. Martha Pingleton, Rockcastle county; two brothers, Ed Wilmont, Rockcastle county and Cleve Wilmont, Germanton, Ohio. And 35 grandchildren.
The body was taken to Kerr Brothers funeral home.
Services will be held at the grave in Richmond cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Raymond Kays, minister of the Big Hill Baptist church, officiating.
Bearers will be Wheeler Young, Raymond Lunsford, Garland Roberts, Calvin Hudson, Tommy Lunsford and Charles Lunsford.

"Buddy" Madden, Raymond Madden, Evelyn (Madden) Corkins, Benny Lee Madden, and Anna Frances (Madden) Slagle. After the death of Johnie in 1944, she quickly married to Garland Wesley Roberts in Cincinnati, OH, to help her raise the children remaining at home. In about 1946, when son William had a daughter, Patricia, Minnie took on the responsibility of raising Tricia as well. Ann and Tricia grew up thinking of themselves as sisters. Benny apprenticed under Garland, who was an upholsterer, but quit the business shortly after Garland's death in 1967 because the business was willed to son-in-law Earnie Slagle instead of to Benny. Minnie did not survive long after Garland's death, following him to the grave only 18 months later. They both died in Columbus, Ohio, but were buried together in Richmond Cemetery, as this town was Minnie's birth place.
