Vernon (Mac) McDaniel, 67, Hamilton, died at 1:45 am, Wednesday in Fort Hamilton-Hughes Hospital. He was born in East Bernstadt, Ky, son of William & Frances Bullock McDaniel & attended schools in Bernstadt, Ky & Seven Mile. Mr McDaniel married Stella Strong in 1934. He worked 14 years at Ohio Casualty Insurance, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Washington Lodge 17, F & AM, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati, Monkey Mutual Aid Society, & Fraternal Order of Police.
He leaves his wife, Stella McDaniel; son, Ron L McDaniel, Cincinnati; two grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Earl McDaniel, Hamilton; sister, Mrs Gladys Mogle, Cincinnati. Services 10 am, Saturday, Webb Funeral Home, Hamilton, with burial in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Masonic service 7 pm, followed by Scottish Rite service.

Ronald L McDaniel, age 45, of Hamilton, died at Fort Hamilton-Hughes Hospital at 6:40 am Wednesday. He was born in Hamilton, the son of Vernon & Stella (Strong) McDaniel. He was currently attending Cincinnati School of Barbering & Hair Design. On August 11, 1975, he married Susanne Karen Sass in Oxford, Ohio. He was self-employed as Ron’s Billiard Service for ten years.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne Karen McDaniel; two children, Robin Minor & Christy Cobb, both of Hamilton; one grand daughter & one grandson; & his mother, Mrs Stella McDaniel. Funeral services will be from the Webb Funeral Home at 10 am on Saturday. Interment will be in Darrtown Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Friday.
