    Mrs. Hundley died Friday. She lived in Cleburne for more than a year and formerly lived in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

    Born in McKee, Ky., he came here 17 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. He was a retired job setter for the Dayton Press and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the founding deacon and member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Spring Hill.

    Survivors include his wife, Daphne; three sons, James R. Jr., Dayton, John W., New Lebanon, Ohio, and Joel Stephen, Xenia, Ohio; two daughters, Daphne Jean Allison, Port St. Lucie, and Joy L. Cagle, Dayton; a brother, Gene, Cleburne, Texas; two sisters, Phina Bright, Monterey, Tenn., and Betty Lou Hundley, Arcanum, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

    Bethel Ramsey, 73, of Eaton, died Thursday, July 3, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.
    She was a member of Union Pentecostal Church.
    Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Ramsey Sr.
    Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leslie Jr. and Sharon Ramsey of Brookville; grandchildren, Brian and Robyn Ramsey of Springboro, Lesley and Craig Ray of West Manchester; great-grandchildren, Tyler Ramsey, Loran Ramsey and David Graham; brothers, Russell Hundley of Springhill, Fla., and Gene Hundley of Cleburne, Texas; sisters, Phina Bright of Monterey, Tenn., and Betty Hundley of Arcanum.
    Funeral services were Monday, July 7, at Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, Brookville, with the Rev. Clifford Hurst officiating. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Phina Hundley Bright, age 82 of Monterey, will be held Sunday, April 5 at Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Rittenberry and Rev. Johnny Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in Whittaker Cemetery. Mrs. Bright died Friday April 3, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
    She was born in McKee, Kentucky, April 16, 1932 to Robert & Elizabeth Cole Hundley.
    Her husband of 49 years, A.D. Bright, Jr and she were wed in Covington, OH on November 26, 1949.
    Together they had five children: Gregory Bright, Sherry (Monty) Johnson, Sheila (Joseph) Jachimowicz, Sandra (Paul) Gibbs, and Mark (Denise) Bright.
    Mimi will be missed by her seven grandchildren: Cynthia (Randall) Rittenberry, Myriah (Doug) Poston, Aarol Bright, Ryan (Jessica) Jachimowicz, Kelly Jachimowicz, Bradley Bright & Ross Bright. Also, five great-grandchildren: Seth Rittenberry, Victoria Rittenberry, Sayrah Poston, & new twins Grayson & Diana Jachimowicz.
    Phina was especially fond of her caregivers, Karen Price, Ann Hensley, and Captola Hendrixson.
    Known for a passion for many causes, Phina had been involved in Girl Scouts and the Monterey Senior Citizens. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monterey for 64 years where she taught the “Good News” Class and loved her “XYZ” class.
    She co-owned “The Briteburger,” a local family-owned restaurant for several years.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Bright (who died Dec. 1, 1997), and daughter-in-law, Jane Ann Bright and brothers and sisters.
    Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

    Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Monterey, TN.

    Mr. Hundley passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Ft. Worth. He was born April 11, 1935 in McKee, Kentucky to Daniel Robert and Elizabeth Cole Hundley. He married Barbara Sue McDonald on December 31, 1956 in Ft. Worth. He was a retired Systems Supervisor at Carswell AFB for 30 years.
    Survivors include his wife Sue Hundley of Cleburne; sons, Chris Hundley and wife Joni of Cleburne, Doug Hundley and wife Tina of Cleburne, Craig Hundley and wife Cherie of Burleson; daughter, Kim Thompson and husband Davy of Cleburne; 7 grandchildren, Nicole Hundley, Corey Hundley, Brody Hundley, Derek Thompson, Colby Thompson, Lauren Hundley and Elyse Hundley; sisters, Phina Bright of TN., Betty Lou Hundley of Ohio and a number of nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Russell Hundley and sister, Bethel Ramsey.

    Betty L. Whitehead - Hundley, age 71, of New Paris, Ohio, died Wednesday December 17, 2008 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on July 5, 1937 at McKee, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert Daniel & Mariah Elizabeth (Cole) Hundley. She attended school in Jefferson Township in Montgomery County Ohio and retired from the Preble County Board of Mental Retardation in Eaton.

    Preceded in death by her second husband, Walter Sheets, sister, Bethel Ramsey, brothers, Russel & Gene Hundley.

    She is survived by her first husband, Lloyd Whitehead of Hillsboro, Ohio, daughters, Vickie Wissler of New Madison, Ohio, Connie (Rick) Woodard of Eaton, Ohio and Angela Lyles of New Paris, Ohio, sister, Phina Bright of Tenn. Eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

    Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday December 22, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held in Arlington Cemetery at Brookville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
