    • Burgess B. Martin’s Funeral Held Today
      Crab Orchard, Ky., May 9 (Special) – Funeral services for Burgess B. Martin, 64, a farmer of Route 1, Brodhead, who died Sunday while fishing on Dix River about three miles east of here, were conducted at 1:30 o’clock this afternoon at Howard Funeral Home here by the Rev. Bill Hamilton and the Rev. H.L. Ponder. Burial was in Buffalo Springs cemetery at Stanford.
      Deputy Coroner Carl Speaks said Mr. Martin apparently died of a heart attack.
      He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a native of Lincoln county.
      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bernece Ponder Martin; two sons, Bennie and Quinten Martin, Cincinnati; two brothers, Edward Martin, Dermatt, Ark., and Harrison Martin, McKinney; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Worley, Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Bershie Bartlett, Stanford, and three grandchildren.
