- Clive Bolinger
Clive Bolinger, 74, of 3662 U.S. 35 West, Eaton, died Friday Nov. 19, at Hospice of Dayton after an extended illness.
Born Feb. 10, 1919, in LaFollette, Tenn., he was the son of Charles and Myrtle (Foust) Bolinger. He retired in 1974 from General Motors-Harrison Radiator Division, and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Eunice Bolinger, in 1923, and a brother, Emerson Bolinger, in 1988.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rachel R. (Rose) Bolinger; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnia and watanna Bolinger and Mike Bolinger, all of Eaton, and Brian and Cathy Bolinger of Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dale Morton of Middletown, Carolyn and Larry Walker and Teresa and Mike Schmidt, all of Eaton.
Also surviving are four brothers, Boyd Bolinger of Eaton, Early Bolinger of Downey, Calif., Preble Bolinger of Middletown and Calvin Bolinger of Hamilton; one sister, Fonda Bolinger of Eaton; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 22, at the First Presbyterian Church, Easton, with the Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Burial with military honors, was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton. Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the First Presbyterian Church of Eaton.
