    • Mrs. Flora Wilmot, Crab Orchard Rt.3, Dies at Hospital

      Mrs. Flora Doyle Wilmot, age 63, of Crab Orchard RR 3, died Jan. 23 at the Mt. Vernon Hospital following an illness of six weeks.
      .
    • Mrs. Wilmot, a daughter of the late Mr. Ben and Mrs. Martha Plummer Doyle, was born Sept. 21, 1897.

      She is survived by her husband, Ed Wilmot, Crab Orchard Route 3; five sons, Willie and Clarence Wilmot, both of Crab Orchard Route 3; Arvel Wilmot, Hamilton, Ohio; Elmer Wilmot, Berea Route 3; Ernest Wilmot, Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Kidwell, Somerville Route 1, Ohio; Mrs. Edna Mae Harris, Richmond; Mrs. Junita McGuire, Berea Route 3; 18 grandchildren, a great grandchild, five brothers, Oscar and Lester Doyle, both of Crab Orchard, Ray Doyle, Liberty; Victor Doyle, Broadhead; Cecil Doyle, Richmond; five sisters, Mrs. Maudie King, Crab Orchard; Mrs. Flossie Rouse, Hamilton, Ohio; Mrs. Edyth Atwood, Liberty; Mrs. Verna Wilson, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Myrtle Manuel, Indianapolis.
    • Services were conducted by the Reverends W.P. Rogers and Tensley Rector last Thursday afternoon at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel.

      Burial was in the Wilmot Family Cemetery, Copper Creek.

      Arrangements were handled by Howard Funeral Home.
