- William M. (Bill) Fannon
Winchester – William M. (Bill) Fannon, 57, of 133 Alabama Street, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday in the Clark County Hospital after a long illness. He was a mechanic, a native of Knox County and a member of the First Baptist Church, Harlan.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth O’Dell Fannon; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Raney and Mrs. Mickey Ahlgrim, Winchester; his father, B.D. Fannon, Harlon; four sisters, Mrs. Nevelle Lee, Stanton; Mrs. Joe Lauletta, Louisville; Mrs. Tommy Kearnen, Danville, and Mrs. Morris Myers, Harlan, a half-brother, Vernon Fannon and three granddaughters.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Scobee Funeral Home by the rev. Cova Duvall. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Bearers will be Leon Raney, Joe Lauletta, Harlan, Johnny, Pete and Doug O’Dell. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Early Rynerson, Raymond and Charles Raney, and Donald Rash. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 10 a.m. today.
