Notes - Marriage Announced
Madras, July 14 - Announcements have been received here by friends of two well known central Oregon people, Hiram Links of Redmond and Mrs. Gladys Bone of Madras, of their marriage at Elko Nev., on June 27. Following the wedding they spent a honeymoon on a motor tour of Yellowstone park and points in Montana.
Mr. Links is a pioneer homesteader of the Agency plains district of Jefferson county. He retired several years ago and moved to Redmond to make his home. Mrs. Links, long a resident of Madras, has for the past several years taught in the schools of Battleground, Wash., where, it was announced, she will be succeeded this year by Miss Edna Petersen of Metolius.
