Notes - Hamilton Journal-Daily News, Hamilton, Ohio, Monday, December 10, 1934: F. Lloyd McVicker Called by Death. Widespread regret was seen today at the passing of F. Lloyd McVicker, age 29, well and widely known young Hamilton and Butler county man, whose death occurred at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McVicker, in Darrtown, Sunday morning at 2:10 o'clock. Lloyd McVicker had been ill since January of 1931, but with dogged determination attempted to fight his way back to health. Recently, however, his condition became more serious and he succumbed to complications. He was a prominent and popular in Masonic circles and was active in leadership of the Masonic Lodge No. 67, of Oxford, of which he was a member. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite, In Cincinnati. For a number of years Mr. McVicker held a responsible position in the office of the General Machinery corporation and during a part of the time he was connected with that concern made his residence at the Y.M.C.A. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Darrtown. In addition to the bereaved widow, Mrs. Edith Hayes McVicker, whom he married December 16, 1930, he is survived by the parents, a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the parents in Darrtown. Burial will be in Darrtown cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening.
