Henry Potter, and old soldier of Clinton Township, died last Wednesday, October 10, 1900, aged 74 years. His father, John Potter, built the second house erected in this county, in September 1817. The deceased served in the Union Army during the War of 1861-5, and was a member of the P.R. Owen Grand Army Post. A wife and 2 sons survive him.
