      TEXAS CITY — Annie G. Marcum, 77 of Texas City passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 in Houston. Annie was a resident of Texas City for forty-one years.

      Visitation for Annie will be Sunday, February 20, 2005 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.

      Annie was born April 7, 1927 in Honey grove, Texas. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Marcum; sister Mattie Irene Clemons; and brother William “Dub” Scroggins. Annie is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law Virgil and Diane Marcum of California, Dennis and Janet Marcum of Texas City, Keith and Melissa Marcum of Texas City; five grandchildren Marc Marcum, Marcie Carlson and husband Curtis, Tracie Jackson and husband Clint, Mistie Marcum and Casey Marcum; one great-grandson Leif Carlson.

      Memorials maybe made to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
