Nancy was the daughter of William and Polly Ann Warner. She was a widow who lived in Aurora and died at her residence from broncho pneumonia.

- Nancy Phipps
Mrs. Nancy Phipps died after a brief illness, Wednesday, April 4, at her home on Conwell St., this city. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7. Interment at River View.
Nancy, daughter of William and Polly Anne Warner was born in Madison county, Ky., February 10, 1851. At the time of her death she was aged seventy-seven years, one month and eighteen days.
September 25, 1867 she was married to Harvey Hunter. Goad gave them six children, three daughters and three sons. Five of these children survive her, one daughter, Mrs. George Weaver, having died several years ago. Her husband, Harvey Hunter, was taken from her in the year 1881.
In November 1882, she was married to Thomas Phipps. Five children were born to this union, four sons and one daughter.
She united with the Christian Church when quite young and attended church services whenever possible.
During the year 1911 death again invaded her home, taking the husband and father. Since that time she has lived in Aurora where she has many friends.
