Lansing
Age 77, died August 8, 1998. Born October 29, 1920, in Lansing where he has been a life-long resident, he served with the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a life member of Lansing Elks B.P.O.E. #196. He was inducted into the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame for football in 1982; and, he bowled a high game of 299, for which he became a part of the American Bowling Congress. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne. Surviving are his sons, James (Nancy) Krebs of Anchorage, AK, and Charles (Alice) Krebs of Swan Lake, MT. He will also be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Lisa, Lori, Loren, and Reyn. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Gathering 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 13, in the Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W. Saginaw.

Donald Krebs first married in 1945 to Cleopatra Gregory (1923-2006). They had two children: James and Charles. They divorced and she married Howard Wilson in 1971.
