    • Silas L. Regan
      Gooding - Silas L. Regan, 91, of Gooding, died Sunday morning at Green Acres Terrace Nursing Home here.

      He was born Feb 10, 1888, at Metz, Mo. He married Maude Reed in Missouri and they were later divorced. He moved to Gooding from Missouri in 1918, where he has farmed, worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and the Big Wood Canal Co.

      He married Kate Pangaza in Gooding in 1938. She died in 1958. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge of Gooding and of the First Baptist Church.

      He is survived by a son, Lee Regan of Twin Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Crews of Portland; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a grandson.

      Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Sears Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Patricia Koskela of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel this afternoon and evening, and until service time Wednesday. [1, 2]
