    Sara Allison Tribble, 76, died Thursday, May 20, 1999 in Boyle County. Born April 10, 1923 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Bush Lewis and Louella Gritton Tribble. She had worked 20 years in the Cincinnati General Hospital, Dept. of Radiology, and 25 years as the Education Director of Radiology at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. She was a member of the Salvisa Methodist Church. Survivors include: one brother, Bush Tribble, Salvisa; one sister-in-law, Betty Tribble, Salvisa; a niece, Lou Anne Readnower, three nephews, Tony, Tommy and Jeff Tribble; nine great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 23, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. John Hockersmith III officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

    Harrodsburg - Bush L. Tribble Sr., 66, a retired farmer and insurance agent in Bondville, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Hospital, Cincinnati, after a short illness. He was a native of Madison County.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louella Gritton Tribble; a daughter, Miss Sarah Allison Tribble, Cincinnati; a son, Bush L. Tribble Jr., Bondville; four sisters, Mrs. T.W. Lawson, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Lee Hill, College, Hill; Mrs. Averill Goins, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Joe Shropshire, Lexington, and three grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles S. Perry and the Rev. Wayne Sparks. Burial will be in Spring Hill. The body is at the funeral home.

    Luella Tribble Dies In Mercer
    Harrodsburg (Spl.) - Mrs. Luella G. Tribble, 75, Bondville, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday at the James B. Haggin Hospital following a short illness.
    A native of Mercer County, she was born Sept. 23, 1896, and was a retired school teacher and a member of the Salvisa Methodist Church.
    Surviving are one daughter, Miss Sara Allison Tribble, Bondville; one son, Bush Tribble Jr., Salvisa; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Sara Anderson, Harrodsburg.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander and Roylaty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Charles T. Pinkston will officiate.
    Friends may call at the funeral home.

    Harrodsburg, Ky., Jan. 7 (Special) - W.J. Gritton, 91, of Salvisa, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at the A.D. Price Memorial hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was the oldest member of the Methodist church at Salvisa and recently was awarded a hat as the oldest regular attendant at any Sunday school in the county.
    Mr. Gritton was a retired farmer, a descendant of pioneer families and a son of the late Floyd and Sarah Evans Gritton, of Mercer county. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. A.I. Alderson, Harrodsburg; Mrs. B.L. Tribbble, Salvisa; one son, Finley V. Gritton, Salvisa, and two brothers, E.L. Gritton, Summerville, Mo., and O.L. Gritton, Lexington.
    Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist church at Salvisa with burial in Spring Hill cemetery, Harrodsburg.

    Lawrenceburg, Ky., Dec. 2. - Mrs. W.J. Gritton, 71 years old, died at her home in Salvisa at 10 o'clock this morning after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held at the home at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial will be in the Harrodsburg Cemetery. Mrs. Gritton is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Alderson and Mrs. Bush Trimble, both of Danville; one son, Finley Gritton, Salvisa, and one granddaughter, Sarah Allison Trimble.

    Died at his home on Salt river, last Wednesday night, Mr. N. L. ?? Gritton, aged 84 years. The deceased had from childhood been a consistent member of the Methodist church, and was doubtless ready for the summons. Besides his devoted wife he leaves to mourn their loss, Messrs. William, Orie and Lige, and their sister, Mrs. W. G. Vaughn. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in our village, and the remains laid to rest in Providence cemetery.
