    Killed no the rails.
Felix Raines was struck and instantly killed at Mahomet Tuesday evening by the west-bound passenger train. He was leading a cow across the track and did not hear the train coming, being very deaf. The cow saw the cars and pulled back suddenly, throwing the old gentleman on the track and under the wheels. Deceased was nearly 80 years old and resided in this city some years ago. He was the father of Mrs. James Ennis, a brother-in-law of L.H. Ennis, and an uncle of Mrs. T.F. Berry. The Farmer City relatives were over to the funeral, which was held yesterday.
