Lillian married the love of her life, Oswall M. Batey in October 1934 in Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1978. She was a homemaker and raised their five children.
Lillian is survived by her children: Carol (Arnold) Stout of Roselawn, IN; Georgianna Batey of Valparaiso, IN; Steven (Linda) Batey of Hammond, IN; Randy (Betty) Batey of Cedar Lake, IN; sister Hazel Clouser; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Oswall, sons, Dwight Batey and Douglas Batey, siblings, Margaret Bragg, Louella Flahive, Delbert Ralls, and Idelle Paris.
