- Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gritton, Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Edwardsburg, Mich., announce the marriage of their daughter, Thelma Lucille, to Charles Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Clark, Niles, Mich. The marriage took place last Saturday afternoon in South Bend two days after the bride was graduated from Edwardsburg High school. For her wedding she wore a frock of pale blue satin with white accessories, and a corsage of red and white rosebuds. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fierick, South Bend, were the attendants. Mr. and Mrs. Clark are residing in South Bend.

Edwardsburg - Services for Charles Richard Clark, 74, of 69425 Michigan 62, who died after an apparent hart attack at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday in the emergency room of Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home. Cremation will take place and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mr. Clark was a retired cabinetmaker from PaceMaker, Elkhart. He was born March 21, 1921, in South Bend. On June 7, 1941, in South Bend, he married Lucille T. Gritton. She died May 10, 1981. On Dec. 4, in Edwardsburg, he married Katherine Feirick Walton. She survives with three daughters, Kay D. Purucker and Jonne Anders, both of Edwardsburg, and Diane Horvath of Niles; two sons, Charles C. of Bristol and Dennis D. of Niles; a stepson, Donald Walton of South Bend; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. Clark was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
