      He was married to Shirley Adams, who survives. Also two daughters, Judy and Julie Watson; a stepson, Howard Hanna. He later married Pauline Kern, who preceded him death. He is survived by two stepdaughters, Theresa and Penny Kern and four stepsons, Gene, Richard, Wesley and Monte Kern. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
      He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
