      Robert Edwards, 89, of Danville, passed away at Hawthorne Inn on April 8, 2015.

      Bob was born March 7, 1926 to Leslie and Helen (Justus) Edwards. Bob married Mary 68 years ago. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Thomas (Vickie) Edwards; two grandchildren, Craig (Shelly) Edwards and Kim (Vince) Savage; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Donald (Rosemary) Edwards.

      Bob was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack and one sister, June Ziebart.

      Bob was a proud veteran who served his country during World War II.

      Bob retired from Hyster after 32 years. Before that he ran a gas station called Vermilion Service Station. He also worked at Sunset Funeral Home for five years,
