      Fast - Meril Willis Fast, 84, of Jacksonville, died Monday, June 8, 1998 in Jacksonville of natural causes. Mr. Fast was born in Crescent, Oklahoma and was a machinist for a shipbuilder. He moved to Northeast Florida in 1993 from Bremerton, Washington. Mr. Fast was a life member of the Elks Lodge #118, a volunteer for meals on wheels and belonged to the U.S.C.A. Survivors include his wife; Martha B. Fast and a son; Ronald E. Fast, both of Jacksonville, FL, 3 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren. All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake, FL.
