M. Blanche (Hall) Fountain, 82, of Spring Hill, Kan., passed away Feb. 24, 2016, at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kan. Graveside services will be held at Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh, Mo.
Blanche is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Hall; daughter, Connie Moffatt; grandson, Richard Lee Hall; and several brothers and sisters.
Blanche was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Fort Scott, Kan. She was an active member of American Legion Auxiliary, the Spring Hill United Methodist Church and was also a member of the "Red Hat Society." She worked for the Spring Hill School district in the cafeteria, and enjoyed playing Bunko and just sitting down to visit with people. She was a loving mother, homemaker and a devoted wife. She was an excellent cook, making many loving meals from scratch, and was known for her noodles, pies and fried chicken, having wonderful Sunday dinners. She was strong in her faith and loved her family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Steven Hall, Charles Hall (Kathy), Cheryl Diane Sawicki (John), Gregory Henry "Peach" Hall (Joyce Cook), and Kelly Lynn Gonzalez (Alberto); brother, Earl Severy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
