Obituary
Ethel Evans-Wiggans was born October 11, 1886 in Kentucky, and died June 2, 1910 at the Mercy Hospital, Ft. Scott, as the result of a surgical operation performed a few days before. She was aged 23 years, 7 months and 16 days.
She was converted and joined the M. E. Church South at Pleasant Ridge, under the ministry of Bro. Lyons. She was made happy in the Savior's love and had that faith which knew no denial.
She was married April, 26, 1905 to Bert Wiggans. To this union was born a son, now three years old. She leaves a husband, four sisters and one brother, aside from a host of friends and other relatives to mourn her loss.
That she was a conscientious Christian woman, whom, to know was to love, is the testimony of those who knew her. --J. B. Snapp.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church South, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Snapp, and Rev. Frank Jennings, pastor of the Baptist Church, and the remains laid to rest in the Bronson cemetery.
