Mrs. R. Horner Passes Away After an Illness With Erysipelas
Mrs. Anna Christina Exner Horner passed away very suddenly early last evening at her home in Howard street, after a long illness with erysipelas.
Mrs. Horner had been a patient sufferer for three weeks with the disease, but was thought to be recovering and her death was indeed a sad shock to the family and to her many friends.
She was united in marriage to Reuben Horner Dec. 9, 1885, and nine children were born to them, all of whom survive at follows: Mrs. Cleve Hipshire, Mrs. Henry Bidwell, Mrs. Albert Felhauer, Charles Horner and Emma, Claudine, Lucille, Clarence and Everett Horner, all residing in Niles. She also leaves seven brothers and three sisters who live in this city.
Mrs. Horner was an active member of Niles Hive, No. 39, L.O.T.M.M., and the Royal Neighbors.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house and at 2:30 from St. John's church. Interment will be made in Silver Brook Cemetery. (The Niles Daily Star, p. 1
