Funeral services for Edward Lee Taber, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
He was born on December 5, 1928 at Birch Tree, Missouri and on March 5, 1931 Ed was legally adopted by Ray E. and Mary Elizabeth (Gritton) Taber in Texas County, Missouri. He passed away on March 10, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
He attended grade school in the Harlow District of Texas County, graduating from Summersville High School on May 2, 1947. Ed was a Korean Veteran, 2nd Division serving in the United States Army. On February 21, 1953 he married his lifelong sweet heart, Eva May Hall at Salem, Arkansas. They had two children, Josephine and Ricky Taber. Eva and Ed lived in multiple states over the course of their married life, returning to West Plains in the late 1980
