Notes - Claude M. Boyd Dead.
Claude M. Boyd, aged 24 years, the son of A.C. and Flora Boyd, died at his home on June 3, 1908 of peritonitis. Claude M. Boyd was born Oct. 10th 1884. On Feb. 11th 1906 he was married to Miss Stella S. Gritton. To this union was born one child, a girl, both of whom survive him. He was a member of the M.E. Church at Porter's Chapel, a good husband and father and a good neighbor. Funeral services were conducted at Union by Rev. J.M. Bone on Thursday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that place.
