Notes - D. Woodson Rites Friday
Services for Delbert Elder Woodson, 75, 3000 Van Highway, Tyler, are set for 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. David Hill officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Woodson died Wednesday evening at his home after a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 14, 1906, in Waurika, Okla., and had been a resident of Tyler the past eight years. He was a member of the Park Heights Baptist Church and was retired from Halliburton Services.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby L. Woodson of Tyler; two sons, Jimmy Woodson of Forney and Jack D. Woodson of Jacksonville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Pace of Whitehouse; one sister Mrs. Helen Wells; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Hill, J.P. Buck Thompson, Louie Carroll, Royce Cates, Richard Murr and Robert Lowrence.
