    • Elizabeth Jane Learnard, 77, of Georgetown, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home. A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 8th from 4-7pm at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams Street in Danville. Services will be on Thursday, July 9th at 10am at Pape’s, with Pastor Matthew Filicsky officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Oakridge Cemetery in Catlin.

      Elizabeth was born on April 8, 1938 in Danville to Sidney and Mayme (Crawford) Butler. She attended Danville High School and Danville Junior College. She worked for many years as a secretary for Judge James Robinson, and later was the first Vermilion County Court Administrator. She was blessed with many friends, and enjoyed gardening, bowling, traveling, and spending time with her family and many grandchildren.

      Elizabeth married Herbert W. Randall on March 3, 1956 and enjoyed many years of marriage until his passing on August 11, 1981. Elizabeth then married Bill Learnard on April 7, 1984, and has enjoyed 31 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband Bill; eight children: Robin (Michael) Fetters of Danville, Herbert (Julie) Randall of Taylors, SC, Damon Randall of Astatula, Florida, Mark (Lori) Learnard of Georgetown, Scott (Kathy) Learnard of Perrysville, Clark Learnard of Phoenix, Beth (Tom) Dekker of Connecticut, and Blaine Bensyl of Michigan; 15 grandchildren: Andy (Amy) McMillin, Kenton McMillin, Grace (Ross) Wilson, Abigail (Tyler) Gutterridge, Zachary (Samantha) Randall, Samantha Randall, Damarah Randall, Mindy Learnard, Lucas Learnard, Madie Dekker, Elaine Dekker, Gus Dekker, Tessa Dekker, Dutch Dekker, and Sophie Bensyl; three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

      Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Herbert, daughter Lezlie K. Randall, and nine siblings: Robert (Lillian) Butler, Alma (Ike) Pentecost, Virginia (Charles) Snyder, Raymond Butler (MIA WWII), Betty (Lyle) Varner, Olive Barker, Keith (Blanche) Butler, Kenton (Yolanda) Butler, and Patricia Coker.
