Homer, April 2. – James Umbanhowar, about 70 years of age, died from apoplexy at 8:45 o'clock this morning at his home, two miles southwest of Homer. He has been in apparently good health previous to the stroke that caused his death.
He was born at Homer and spent his entire life in this vicinity as a farmer. He is survived by the widow and four children: Julia and Audrey, at home; Fred, a farmer near here, and Charles of Indianapolis. He was a member of the M. W. A. and Masonic lodges.
