      Obituary--Marion Wiggans
Marion Wiggans was born in Bourbon county Kansas, Feb. 14, 1874 and died after an illness of three months in which time he had undergone three surgical operations, in the St. Joseph hospital, June 19, 1923. He lived all his life in this immediate section of the state with the exception of a very few years when a small boy his family resided in Kansas City, and the past few months on the farm near LaHarpe.
He was married to Elizabeth May Evans, August 23, 1903. Four daughters were born to them, Mellie 16, Mildred 13, and Iva and Elva 11.
Besides his wife and children he is survived by his father, Wm Wiggans, three brothers, and four sisters.
The grief stricken wife and daughters live on a farm near LaHarpe.
The deceased brought much comfort and encouragement by singing just three or four hours before his death, "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Nearer My God to Thee."
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Bronson Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. O. F. Potter of the Baptist church and the remains laid to rest in the Bronson cemetery.
