Notes - Hugh A. Fox, a farmer residing about 2 miles northeast of Gessie, died at 2 o'clock on last Monday afternoon of brain fever, after an illness of two or three weeks. He was born in Ohio in 1834, and has been a resident of this county since 1865. He was a good citizen and much respected by everybody. He leaves a wife and several children, some of whom are married.
