      Daly-Gritton
For some time it has been hinted by many that Frank Gritton was soon to number himself among the benedicts. The rumors settled into certainty yesterday when a license to wed was issued to Frank M. Gritton and Miss Cynthia Daly by the county clerk. The wedding was a quiet one, and took place in the parlors of the Episcopal rectory. Only the witnesses and the relatives of the contracting parties were present. Mr. Gritton is well known in Danville, where he has always lived. When but a mere lad he entered the service of the Illinois Printing Co. as an apprentice in the press-room, and by industry rose rapidly through the various stages of "devil" to the level of a finished workman. He was for some time an employ of the Marshall Times, and resigned to accept a similar position on The Press. He is at present working for the Illinois Printing Co. The bride, Miss Cynthia Daly, is well known as a young lady of rare personal charms and mental attainments. The young couple will reside in a cosy little home on Sherman street. May the shadows never gather on the horizon of their married life nor tempest threaten the calm of their peaceful happiness.
