Know all men by those present that we Milow B. Gritton & John Burton are held & firmly bound unto the common wealth of Kentucky in the final Sum of fifty pounds currant money to the payment of which will & truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs & family & severally firmly by these present sealed with our Seals & dated this 13th day of Nov, 1834.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a license about to ____ for a marriage intended to be solemnised between said Milow and Jane S Burton Now if there be no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to be now otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
